SUNCAMPER HISTORY

1977 – Suncamper Brand was launched by, Peter Marshall, in Brookvale.

Late 70’s – Suncamper first started producing 4-wheel drive campervans

1980 –  Business changed hands

1984 –  Started 4×4 Mitsubishi’s

1986 – Business changed hands

1990 –  April 1st Keith Harrison purchased Suncamper , Began building Suncamper Pop Top Campervans Toyota Hi-Ace

1991 – Design and development of the Sherwood began. First Sherwood was built, now our #1 seller.

1992 – Mazda Bus (Coaster Bus)

1997 –Built the Scarborough

Late 90’s – Rodeo Ute built, first aluminium frame, Sheffield was launched

2003 – Sovereign model launched

2004 – Built first Fiat 6 wheeler

2005 – Countrywide Rental fleet launched, Suncamper began distributing to NZ

2006 – Southern Cross and Sovereign Prestige models were launched

2007 – Sofala was launched, Suncamper moved to Mount Kuring-gai

2009 – Commercial Medical Vans were built

2010 – Sydney model was launched

2012 – Suncamper Moved to Thornleigh

2013 – Sherwood Twin series was released

2014 – Northside RV was launched, Sovereign Deluxe was launched

2015 – Introduced a Caravan range named ’Entrada Caravans’

2017 – Celebrated 40 years in business, Sherwood range was redeveloped and the R and E series were launched. Saxby was launched.

2018 – Won awards Best of the Best and Best NSW Motorhomes, Caravans and 5th Wheelers

2019 – Consolidation of range, Launch of the new 6 berth Saxby F Series.

2020 – Expands Thionleigh offices and factory.
